Aesthetic Cosmetic Nurse Injector
A cosmetic nurse is a registered nurse or a nurse practitioner who specializes in performing non-surgical cosmetic procedures. Cosmetic nurses perform procedures, such as Botox, non-surgical facelifts using PDO threads, hair restoration, HydraFacial, skin rejuvenation using PRP or exosomes, chemical peels, microneedling, IV drips, subdermal/subcutaneous injections, and medical laser treatments.
Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Performs treatments in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Obtain consents for treatment and Media Consent for social media.
- Maintain HIPPA compliance.
- Follow OSHA standards.
- Establishes & maintains rapport with clients to ensure overall customer service satisfaction of clients.
- Evaluates client’s suitability for available services/treatments and performs treatments that same day.
- Examining the skin to assess aging and other problems.
- Pursues opportunities to educate clients on additional services.
- Educate clients on all treatment processes including pre- and post-treatment care guidelines.
- Annotate and post appropriate information and maintain accurate client treatment records/data in the client’s medical chart.
- Sustain proficiency through continuous education and training.
- Collaborate with sales and operational teams to achieve company goals.
- Social media savvy.
- Registered Nurse license in the state of South Carolina, must be in good standing.
- Relevant industry experience preferred.
- Proficient with personal computers and contemporary software applications (Google Docs, MS Office Suite, Nextech).
- Warm and welcoming bedside manner.
- Ability to complete detailed paperwork.
- Exceptional teamwork skills.
- Always maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to meet U.S. employment and eligibility requirements.
- Interviewing patients to uncover their needs during initial consultation appointments.
- Preparing operating rooms and examination rooms for procedures.
- Performing minimally invasive cosmetic procedures independently.
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
- Giving post-procedure instructions to patients.
- Remaining up-to-date on the latest innovations in medical aesthetic treatments.
Experience with Cynosure laser or others preferred.
Hydrafacial licensing a plus!
