Christen Lockhart,
LMT, MLD-C
Christen is a graduate of The Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage. She is dedicated to helping her clients and has extended her education beyond being a Licensed Massage Therapist. Christen is also an Ashiatsu Deepfeet Bar Therapist and Manual Lymphatic Drainage Certified Therapist. She is certified in migraine/headache relief, medical & orthopedic massage, stretching, reiki, prenatal massage, and hot stone therapy. Christen has worked in the Medical Field for over 20 years in Maryland and Virginia and attributes this to her deep passion for helping and healing others.
Christen combines the best of all massage modalities to create comforting and therapeutic treatments that are both unique and customized for an individual’s healing experience. She has extensive knowledge in restorative modalities that include Deep Tissue, Swedish, Ashiatsu DeepFeet Bar Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder Technique), Trigger Point Therapy and Myofascial Release. Christen believes that working the entire body as one promotes healing as everything in the body is connected.
In her free time, you can find Christen at one of our beautiful local beaches, traveling, yoga, or playing pickleball. She also enjoys riding on her husband’s motorcycle and is dedicated and committed to volunteering support for Veterans and Law Enforcement Officers.
Kayla Maloney
Kayla brings 9 years of esthetics experience to Waccamaw Medical Spa, including valuable time working in Dermatology. As an Air Force veteran who specialized in Ammunitions, Kayla knows the importance of precision and dedication. After her military service, she transformed her passion for helping others look and feel their best into a thriving career in skincare.
Kayla is deeply passionate about her work, and her favorite treatments include HydraFacials, RF Microneedling, and tattoo removal, where she excels at delivering transformative results.
When she’s not in the treatment room, Kayla enjoys spending quality time with her family, indulging in naps and a great cup of coffee, and exploring new places through her love of travel.
Sheena Morse, RN
For as long as Sheena can remember, she has had a love and a passion for cosmetics, skin care and wellness. Sheena is passionate about helping people achieve their skin care goals and developing a personalized care plan to reach them. This love and compassion drove Sheena to pursue a career as an Aesthetic Nurse. Sheena began working at Waccamaw Medical Spa January 2024.
Sheena received her Registered Nursing Degree from Horry-Georgetown Technical College. She has been an RN since 2019 and has worked and has experience in the hospital setting, infection prevention and dermatology. Sheena attended the Southeastern Esthetics Institute where she obtained her certifications in lasers, dermaplaning, chemical peels and micropigmentation of the eyebrows, lips and eyeliner. Sheena is certified to perform cosmetic injectables through AMET as well as Allergan Cosmetics.
When Sheena is not working, you can find her at the pool, beach or on the water. She loves spending time with her son and significant other and loves a good date night that includes the essentials of amazing food and a live band!
Keeley Rhyne, LE
Keeley is a native of Murrells Inlet and is new to the Aesthetic Industry. She is a recent graduate from Horry-Georgetown Technical College and has obtained her license to become a Licensed Esthetician. Keeley plans to further her career by going back to school to obtain her degree in Nursing and become a Registered Nurse in the very near future. Keeley began her career at Waccamaw Medical Spa in the Fall of 2023.
Keeley is full of energy, eager to learn and has the drive and motivation to provide the best care to her clients and assist them in reaching their skin care goals and needs. She is passionate about making her clients feel beautiful and comfortable in their skin and overall appearance. Keeley can perform a wide range of services from tattoo removals, radiofrequency microneedling, eyelash and eyebrow enhancements and the best facial on the beach to name just of few!
Keeley enjoys being a mother to her beautiful cats and spending time with her family and friends.
Katherine Pittman, LMT
Katherine is a Licensed Massage Therapist and is certified in Acupressure, Prenatal Massage, Hot Stone Therapy, Oncology, Egyptian Reflexology to name a few of her many accolades. She began her massage career in 2006 at the Collier Athletic Club in Naples, Florida where she had the privilege to work with trainers and instructors to assist athletes in preparation for tournaments as well as recovery from injuries sustained. In 2015, Katherine moved from Florida to Raleigh, NC to assist and support a variety of athletes at Lifetime Fitness. In 2021, she moved to Murrells Inlet and joined Waccamaw Chiropractic and Wellness. Katherine began working at Waccamaw Medical Spa late 2023.
Katherine noticed that many of her clients requested a firmer massage, so she became certified in Ashiatsu, which is a deeper pressure, more relaxing and broader massage. This ‘Deep Feet’ style of massage assists her clients in relaxing sore muscles with less pointed strain on their muscles and less soreness after a treatment.
She is driven to assist clients in achieving their wellness goals one muscle at a time! Katherine is so crafted that her clients have recognized her as a world class therapy and have nicknamed her ‘Magician Hands’!
Katherine incorporates healing in her own personal wellness journey. She loves to do yoga on the beach and paddle board! She loves people and educating them on the various treatments she offers and welcomes any one to come by the Spa any time to meet and chat with her!
